Recent Highlights

October 2021: Communications and Engagement Update

This presentation to the Arvada City Council was part of our team’s annual update to the Council about progress in implementing the City’s communications and engagement strategy.

December 2020: Olde Town Tree Lighting

In the midst of the pandemic, we looked for an alternative to the annual Olde Town tree lighting ceremony, a typically well-attended event. I conceived of a virtual tree lighting ceremony, in which the event could be streamed and broadcast live on the City’s television channel. Working with our talented team, I schedule additional pre-recorded video segments (e.g., a reading from the local library, a performance of a scene from the local theater, etc.) to create holiday special for the community.

Early in the COVID-19 pandemic, I hosted a series of record Zoom meetings to take a deeper dive into the challenges and opportunities of the crisis. This example is a discussion with the City of Arvada’s HR Director.
